1. Cancellations by Customers
You may cancel any booking for tickets that have not yet been issued to you. You may also return issued tickets before the scheduled event date.
All cancellation requests must be submitted to events@meatonfire.africa or by calling +267 72 611 791.
You must provide the correct booking number for all cancellations, exchanges, or refund requests.
Refunds apply only to the face value paid for the ticket. Discounted tickets will only be refunded at the discounted value paid.
The following cancellation fees apply:
• More than 30 days before the event. A 15 percent cancellation fee applies.
• Between 30 days and 14 days before the event. A 50 percent cancellation fee applies.
• Less than 14 days before the event. No refund applies. A 100 percent cancellation fee applies.
These cancellation charges protect operational planning, supplier commitments, venue costs, staffing allocations, procurement obligations, and production expenses linked to the event.
If valid documentary proof is provided confirming the death or hospitalisation of the ticket holder, cancellation fees will not apply for that specific ticket.
2. Event Changes, Postponements and Cancellations
The Event Organiser reserves the right to:
• Refuse admission
• Adjust seating arrangements
• Modify event programs
• Change event schedules
• Replace performers, chefs, vendors, or experiences
• Relocate events
• Postpone events
• Cancel events
These actions may occur due to operational, legal, regulatory, safety, supplier, weather, sourcing, public health, disease outbreak, venue, logistical, or unforeseen circumstances.
If an event is postponed or cancelled, Meat on Fire Africa will communicate the available refund, rollover, exchange, or ticket transfer process through:

No refund applies where admission is refused because of:
• Failure to meet legal age requirements
• Failure to comply with venue rules
• Intoxication
• Disorderly conduct
• Possession of prohibited items
• Failure to comply with safety instructions
• Fraudulent or duplicated tickets
• Unauthorised resale of tickets
All customers must comply with the refund procedures, verification requirements, and deadlines communicated by the Event Organiser.
3. Refund Method
Approved refunds will only be processed through the original payment method used during purchase.
If payment was made by card, the refund will be processed back to the same card only.
Cash refunds will not be issued for electronic payments.
Meat on Fire Africa reserves the right to request identity verification before processing any refund.
4. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days from the date of approval.
Processing times may vary depending on banks, mobile money providers, payment gateways, financial institutions, verification procedures, or third party transaction systems.
Meat on Fire Africa shall not be liable for delays caused by third party financial institutions, payment providers, or processing platforms.
5. Ticket Responsibility
Customers are responsible for safeguarding their tickets, booking confirmations, and purchase references.
Lost, stolen, damaged, duplicated, altered, or shared tickets may be rejected and may not qualify for replacement or refund.
Tickets may not be resold, transferred for profit, or distributed for commercial gain without written permission from Meat on Fire Africa.
6. Limitation of Liability
Attendance at events is entirely at the customer’s own risk.
Meat on Fire Africa, its organisers, employees, contractors, suppliers, sponsors, venues, service providers, and partners shall not be liable for:
• Personal injury
• Illness
• Theft
• Loss of personal belongings
• Property damage
• Delays
• Event interruptions
• Transport losses
• Accommodation losses
• Business losses
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Circumstances beyond reasonable control
Maximum liability for any approved claim shall not exceed the face value paid for the affected ticket.
7. Alcohol and Age Restrictions
Certain events may include the sale or consumption of alcohol.
All attendees must comply with Botswana laws relating to alcohol consumption, responsible conduct, and legal drinking age requirements.
Meat on Fire Africa reserves the right to refuse entry, service, or alcohol sales to any person who fails to comply with legal requirements, venue policies, or responsible conduct standards.
8. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana.
Any disputes arising from ticket purchases, refunds, cancellations, event attendance, or use of Meat on Fire Africa services shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Botswana.
9. Force Majeure
Meat on Fire Africa shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, interruptions, shortages, operational failures, or inability to perform obligations caused by events beyond reasonable control.
These events include:
• Weather conditions
• Disease outbreaks
• Pandemics
• Government restrictions
• Strikes
• Supplier failures
• Transport disruptions
• Utility failures
• Civil unrest
• Natural disasters
• Venue restrictions
• Regulatory actions
• Security threats
• Other force majeure events
10. Legal Disclaimer
By purchasing a ticket, attending an event, or using this platform, you acknowledge and accept these terms in full.
Meat on Fire Africa reserves the right to amend, revise, or replace this policy at any time without prior notice.
